At AirParlour, we’re here to help hair professionals attract new clients and manage transactions seamlessly, while we handle all the admin. Enjoy the freedom to choose your services, set your prices, and control your schedule.

We promote you to new clients, provide software for client management (availability, calendar, bookings), and offer phone support when needed. Our platform is free to use, with a one-time 20% matchmaking fee only on a first appointment with new clients we bring.

You’re not bound to AirParlour - feel free to use other platforms or bring in existing clients with no fees.

Set the days and hours you want to take on new jobs (no minimum hours are required), and for mobile services set how far you want to travel.

Payment taken from client upfront, so no risk of non-payment

We secure payment upfront, releasing funds to you after job completion. If a 
client cancels within 24 hours, you’re still paid in full.

We verify customers via email and phone, collect bank details, and provide access to their social media profiles and job history. Only your first name is visible, and we never share your personal details.

Frequently asked questions

Simply click the "Apply to join" button on our homepage and complete the two-minute application, letting us know your experience, your services and where you’re based. Once we have accepted your application you can finish your profile and start taking jobs.

We require hairdressers to hold a recognised qualification, such as an NVQ Level 2 or equivalent. As part of the onboarding process you will need to provide proof of your qualification.

Once your profile is active, clients will be able to find you through the platform based on their location and the services they need. You will be notified of new bookings via email and be able to view all bookings on the AirParlour platform.

Yes, you are in full control of setting what services you offer as well as the prices. You can update your prices anytime through your account settings.

AirParlour is free to join, with no add-ons. We charge a one-time matchmaking fee of 20% for a new client on the first booking only – if they like you and want to use you again, we charge nothing. All payments through the platform are handled by Stripe and subject to Stripe’s processing fee.

If you are working in a salon you can specify the name and location – and if you offer mobile services you can set a geographic area within which you will appear in customers' searches. You can change the salon / geographic area at any time.

You can easily set your availability on the platform by updating your calendar, and clients can only book appointments based on your available time slots.

We recommend that you have public liability insurance and professional indemnity insurance if you are working in a salon, and professional indemnity insurance if you are working mobile.

We check emails of users, and you can see how many previous jobs they have done. If they have included their instagram/facebook you will also be able to see this. If you are a female hairdresser and would only like to appear in searches by female clients, this can be done in your settings.
